Pakistan has Lost a True Tiger and a Patriot – Hamid Gul

Late Hamid Gul - A true Patriot 

Pakistan is a state with so many fortunes and upheavals is tis history of 68 years from its birth in 1947. We lost our founder (Quaid e Azam – Muhammad Ali Jinnah)and a gem who stood by the cause of foundation of an Islamic State, and then fought all on legal fronts with British Empire for having Pakistan (Our Dream Homeland). Unfortunately he passed away only one year after the birth of a new country that required his guidance and surveillance. Then we got into one crises after another both on political and on international fronts.

Once in 1960s, Pakistan stood as a role model of economic growth, stability and prosperity for nations like South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Turkey and many other to follow. But everything went upside down due to political turmoil, flip of governments and then the Afghan-Russia war made threw us into an international battle then went on for decades. We have millions of Afghan refugees and a collapse in our economy along with a chance for all time enemies of Pakistan, to spread their agents for terrorism and chaos.

We are facing this chaos and anarchy along with terrorism for a four decades now. Here a person like General (Retired) Hamid Gul was a positive part of a war against Russia along with Afghan Soldiers of freedom. Then he was retired but remained in limelight due to his strong will power, extremism will power, Servant of Islam and a person who dared to speak truth in the eyesof our eastern and western enemies and in front of media as well. A time when our so-called leaders, politicians and heads of state used to hide out behind multi-folded remakes.

Hamid Gul, despite his old age and reclining health was vocal and always on front line to give vision to common citizens of Pakistan that our forces are determined to serve the country. He was always on media with a flare of hope and a motivation for especially youth of Pakistan that we are not afraid of the illicit and coward acts of terrorism and acts of violence. Where it was all proven to have foreign hands in target killing of Karachi.

The formation of separation movements is Balochistan and the FATA crises was properly discussed by that man of wisdom. He always spoke in front of live media that he will be in frontline if India and rest of enemies will keep a negative eye on Pakistan. But it is reality that we have been told clearly in Holy Quran by ALLAH Almighty “every Living things has to taste the flavour of death”. So, we are helpless and at peace that he served with a positive purpose till his last breath. May ALLAH Rest his soul at highest place in Jannah - Aameen
